Permits are required for some activities in Christmas Island National Park.

You may need a permit if you are:

  • doing research
  • filming, taking photos or recording audio for commercial purposes (including artistic works)
  • hosting an event
  • running commercial tours or other activities.

Camping permits

A permit is required to camp in Christmas Island National Park.
