One of Australia’s most remote courses, the Christmas Island Golf Club boasts ocean views and lush green fairways overlooked by jungle terraces.

It’s also probably the only club in the world that has special rules for when a crab steals your ball!

Visitors are welcome to play the nine-hole, par-64 course for a small fee. Clubs can be hired from the Visitor Centre.

Every May the golf club hosts the Christmas Island Open, attracting players from all over Australia and the world.

Visit the Christmas Island Golf Club website for more details on this unique golf course.
