Merrial Beach

Merrial Beach is Christmas Island’s smallest beach and one of its prettiest.

Located at the Dales on the island’s west coast, this tiny beach is only accessible at low tide. The gorgeous white sand is framed by rocky overhangs, making it a photographer’s favourite.

The track into Merrial Beach is a rough one, so be prepared to do a bit of climbing and negotiate some dense vegetation.
